We’ve been having somewhat lousy weather lately – cold, clouds, haze – so the ocean hasn’t been particularly attractive from the house.
Today, however, I have two posts of images and movies I took yesterday.
The first set is from Redondo Beach where I went to visit my Mother. The day was clear, but cold and windy, so the surf was really crashing on the beach and the breakwater.
We had a colorful and spectacular sunset. I’m including lots of images, because I think each has some slightly different appeal.
Today quickly switched from a pleasant Sunday to a little too exciting when my wife arrived home from grocery shopping and yelled “Fire!” At almost the same instant, I could smell smoke and there was a helicopter flying over the house. A couple of pictures of the stormy ocean this morning.
Sunday had really strong winds and rain that managed to find its way into the house via the construction going on in the kitchen. This morning, however, gave us a lovely rainbow. While the ocean isn’t very visible in these photos, it is there in the fog and mist.
